Synergy ECP is looking for a Certified Electrician in anticipation of a newly awarded satellite communications contract located in Annapolis Junction, MD

Designs and installs power distribution lines within facilities and to equipment racks. Installs, tests, and maintains conduit, junction boxes, and power-filtering equipment, and power monitoring equipment, UPS systems, redundant and backup systems.

Required Capabilities: 
  • Perform successfully at the entry/developmental level through appropriate formal training, actual on-the-job experience or both
  • Apply fundamental skills and concepts using established procedures and standard practices to work problems or limited scope based on detailed instructions from the supervisor or instructor
  • Has knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures commonly used within the field
  • Lay out, assemble, repair, maintain, connect, and test electrical fixtures, apparatus, control equipment and wiring for the generation, distribution or utilization of electric energy
  • Plan and install panel boards, switch boxes, and other related devices
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install conduits and other kinds of electrical conductor enclosures
  • Test the installed and existing equipment and electrical systems to ensure proper and safe functionality
  • Locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment
  • Work standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment
  • Use a variety of electrician’s tools and measuring and testing instruments

Possess a valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the state (or have reciprocity rights) where work is to be performed.
